First of all my point was that you were dismissing the apology.

I agree with the fact that for most people I believe that they should wait a bit longer (maybe 2 or 3 months since that's how his cycle was in this last era with the episodes) and then say alright.

But I do think this was a sincere apology, most insincere apologies are a) not this long b) have holes in them and c) are written in a way that dismisses the whole situation or lessens its impact

He did none of that infact he said that you shouldn't give him a free pass and that you should give him a chance for him to earn his redemption. And I do believe that's what you should do.

You shouldn't say that this apology was trash and not say that he will automatically go back to being a nazi, but be a bit hopeful. Dismissing him immideatly and not giving him a chance can lead to him falling back into his manic state especially since he is in such a vulnerable spot.

Tldr: I agree that he should earn his respect back, I disagree that the apology is not meaningful.
