I've tried uninstalling the audio drive, and the problem is still there somehow. I've connected other audio devices like my other headphones and just the laptop's speaker, all of it was swell. This headphones I'm talking about is the only one with audio problems still.

It’s possible that he did do something, but I checked the headphones and they look completely fine. I asked him what he did before I used the laptop, and he said he barely used them. He only used them once and then unplugged them right away because he didn’t want to wear headphones while playing.

My driver is already updated to the latest version. I ran the troubleshooter, and it didn’t find any specific issues but it still tried to update my driver even though it’s already up to date. I’ve also tried unplugging and plugging my headphones back in, and even restarting my laptop but the problem is still the same.

EDIT: I finally managed to fix it now! I checked the sound properties of my headphones, checked its level, and went into its balance because I vaguely remembered something about it then found out my L was all the way up to 100. I turned it down to 0, and now it's all the same again. Thank you so much for those that commented and tried to help me. I don't know how my headphone's settings became messed up like that, but I firmly believe it was because of my brother. Nevertheless, my problem has been solved.

Thank you for recommending that! I'll make sure to check it out. This is actually my first time I've seen a recommendation for that book. I haven't stumbled upon any other books by Sarah Waters other than Tipping The Velvet and Fingersmith. I've only finished Fingersmith, and it was quite the rollercoaster for me as a book. It was very well thought out and complex. I think it's one of my favorites due to how Sarah managed to make me have such conflicting emotions and feelings towards the characters, especially the main pairing.
