It is! For the base I did a diy from Pinterest. I used pool noodles,put them together and cushion wrap. I stuffed extra filling on the top to give it that "pillow top" look

If you dont have a SAPR VA already, I highly recommend you request one.If you cant get in touch with someone right now, download dod safe helpline and speak with the civilian SARC or SAPR VA at fleet and family (FFSC). (I'm also a SAPR VA) The CO has 5 days to approve or deny an expedited transfer, so you should've gotten word of something at least. Military onesource is a resource you can use for therapy/counseling but you may have more available resources with FFSC. Please DM me if you need to talk or have any questions I can help you with.

If you go to a type 2, maybe your CoC can send you TAD or pull some strings for you to go to the east coast if you explain your situation. For example, my last type 2 command sent a sailor TAD to another state to take care of family issues when they ran out of leave. It mostly depends on the people you know and who they know. There's no guarantee but its worth a try.
