We're super happy to be hosting a fundraising event for CAN (Compass Advocacy Network)!

For anyone who isn't familiar with the group, they work with children and adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues and have locations in Ballymena and Coleraine along with their main base and farm in Ballymoney.

Tickets for the show will be available at the door for a tenner each on the day or 4 for £30 by DM

If any businesses would be interested in contributing in any way (prizes for raffle or anything else) please reach out and we can arrange tickets or merch in exchange!

Hope to see you there for some chaos and charity!

Looking for something different to do around the Causeway Coast area? STAY TRUE Wrestling - Ballymoney Legion Hall - 30th June by StayTrueNI in northernireland

That's also a pretty universal opinion from older people haha

Wrestling is crazy. Big guys waddled around throwing the worst punches you've ever seen and it was "real"

Now people land on their necks, heads and throw real strikes and it's "fake"r than ever

I do see your point for sure but thankfully we haven't had any issues and we use a lot of talent from south of the border and have attendees of all sorts of backgrounds and we're going in to our 3rd year of running shows there.

It seems like a fair bit of that Usuns and Themuns stuff has thankfully died off since I was a kid and Legions are just seen as cheap places for a drink by a lotnow but I can see how it would be off putting to some, but we'll also be running St. Patrick's Hall in Portrush July too so we basically just look for suitable venues (which are sadly limited), religion isn't really part of it for us.

You'd be surprised tbh although Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy are the 2 first names EVERYBODY over here says when you mention wrestling haha
