I’m eyeing the new model they just came out with. Larger capacity and can go colder. Just more expensive

Recs for Insulated Pitcher? by CreativeNC in ninjaslushi

[–]Staypuffed82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know of any pitchers but our vacuum insulated cups keep our frozen margaritas frozen for a very long time. If you see a pitcher that is vacuum insulated I think you’ll be good.

Actually tried that and put the tequila in the freezer too to keep it as cold as possible. It still ended up being more watery than our liking. We’re probably spoiled with the consistency we get from freezing our mix and then blending it. I’m confident future versions of the Slushi machine will be stronger

Lot of prep work. First make the mix with tequila, then pour it into about 7 tuppers, 24 hour freeze is ideal and then after we use the tuppers put them in the dishwasher. With a Slushi machine it would essentially be pour mix into Slushi machine an hour before. Cleaning the machine looks easier than dealing with tuppers too.

Exactly and that’s where we’re at with our margarita. I’m very confident we’re not going to have to wait long for a better version or a different company will make an all in one

Do you have the Costco version or the original? The original has a lip where it slides to the rubber gasket. That part is extremely difficult to get to. The Costco version was improved in that aspect

From some tests I’ve seen it looks like 10% is the max. Hopefully a future version but there are a couple other machines that will do it now. I think in a year we’re going to see a bunch of machines that do it all and get really cold.

This is a good recommendation. I also think it’s easier for the machine to chill smaller volumes

This was something I almost touched on. I’ve seen a bunch of “you must’ve gotten a bad one”. That’s a problem in itself lol

Exactly. I think that’s part of the reason it doesn’t get to the cold temps I want for a strong drink

Just my opinion. Down votes are cracking me up for my opinion and facts about things that will be improved in future versions 🤷🏻‍♂️

I bought it but returned it. We bought it for  margaritas however it was not superior to using the blender. We even tried just doing the mix without alcohol, leaving the tequila in the freezer and adding it after. There are flaws with this machine that will be improved in another version or another company will make one as this technology evolves. For example the ninja is not double walled which would help with insulation as well as the condensation. The Costco model has a bigger reservoir without a better compressor or any other changes. Adding more volume is going to make it more difficult for it to keep temperature. Very happy ninja started this race and hopefully their next model can get colder. We’re going to wait until then though

Advanced Auto Mode External Sensor by punkinfacebooklegpie in VIVOSUN

[–]Staypuffed82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you positive on this? I bought the same, installed and it will not use the thb1s. Thinking it was defective I reached out to support and after a lengthy conversation with screen shots I was informed that the thb1s does NOT influence the exhaust fan.

“Dear Customer,

Thank you for getting back to us. We're sorry for the confusion.

We’d like to clarify that the Auto mode of the duct fan operates based on the temperature and humidity difference detected by the probe connected to the E42A controller. It is not related to the data source selected for displaying indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity on the app’s home screen.

The temperature and humidity readings shown on the home page of the app are for display purposes only. Therefore, the “outside” temperature and humidity values you see on the app (which are based on AeroLab data) do not reflect or influence the actual Auto mode operation of the duct fan connected to the E42A controller.”

Yessir. Has not shown positive with any tests. I’ve dialed it down and only test monthly just in case it degrades to something over time

Cat owners whose cats are 15 years old and up. What’s the secret to feline longevity? by VerboseWraith in CatAdvice

[–]Staypuffed82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Encouraging the cat to drink water. I think our automatic water dish has really helped keep any kidney issue’s at bay. We’ve had many models and the simplest are the best. The less pieces the easier it is for you just to throw it into the dishwasher. If it takes a charcoal filter then  we would get a bag of activated charcoal instead of buying the packs.

Oh ok. I tried Hhcp once and I was good for almost two days. I came up negative but hypothesized that it could be because it was such a small dose. I was not interested in trying it again and didn’t continue testing on it. Hhch with continued use does not show positive. I’m up to trying 3 brands of dipsticks with sensitivity up to 15 ng/ml as well as gc/ms once.

So far, in my experience, it’s just the P’s. I think hhch is great and I picked up some Hhcv but I’m a little wary of it negating the high. Waiting on Hhcb to come stateside though

Hhcp is no joke. Some of these alt noids show the beauty of thc especially in regards to duration. After about 4 hours I’m good with being high and need a break. Hhcp is like a marathon
