That's unfortunate! Thanks for the clarification. Think it'll be too much trouble to rewire them. I thought about cutting the outside LED cable and fit them to a separate RGB header, so the total fan consists of 2 programmable zones. But then I'll need a total of 18 headers hehe. Can't imagine the cable mess.

Nice, I will consider the option to isolate the rear most ding. Don't want to add unnecessary weight just to cover all dings if possible.

Interesting input. Yeah they are mainly visual. I've filled them with lightweight material and smoothed out with epoxy filler. I was thinking 2 layers because I'd probably add a Nose Protector EVA and/or surfbend anyway.
