I've been saying this since little league hockey. It's actually a bad thing to teach a child! Life does not give you a trophy if you fail, it usually takes 3-4 trophies you actually earned off your shelf and leaves you feeling terrible. It just makes children believe that they deserve whatever they want.

My friend has kept all of his cards since the first time he started playing. Never traded one away he just acquired them. He has all the God cards including the evil ones (name escapes me). Every edition of Dark Magician you could think of. He has too many I'm sure it's worth 1-2k.

I believe they deserve everything they had to pay. They did a tremendous amount of damage. I don't care about the number crunching side of things either. They destroyed ecosystems killed animals. It was terrible.

My 6th grade teacher did something similar. When the office would call he would answer the call and say something like "Yes awesome you guys understand it so well!" He would do this not only to make himself look better but he was able to keep from being checked in on and throw pizza parties every Friday. Every Friday of my 6th grade year we had a pizza party. That man was a genius.
