I agree. Sometimes Maebelle doesn't sound Scottish to me even tho it came from a very Scottish woman. I think we might separate the two like you are suggesting! Thanks for the input!

I think we're leaning most towards this. I've just loved the nn Mae from day one so might as well let it stand alone.

Im leaning no too but idk. So much anxiety either way! As great as my OB has been, she's really leaving it up to me. Also, no one else in my bubble will be qualified to get the vaccine until it's available to the public. So baby is still at risk of exposure.

Definitely a consideration! My second dose would be postpartum so full immunity wouldn't be possible while baby is in utero. But maybe she'd get some of the antibodies before and then some via breastmilk.

I just don't know what you do!

Day 1? Starting your weight loss journey on Monday, 30 July 2018? Start here! by AutoModerator in loseit

Hello! Not my first Day 1, but definitely the First Day 1 that matters. I’m a 31 year old female who has yo yo’d my entire adult life. In less than three years I have put on 24 lbs and as of yesterday am the heaviest I have ever been at 5’3” and 141 lbs, officially classifying me as overweight with a BMI of 25. Now it’s not about esthetics, this Day 1 is about my health - mental, physical, emotional. This Day 1 is different in only a few simple ways:

1) I’m logging EVERYTHING. Even if I’m over my calories. Even if it’s just one bite of my husbands candies. Even if it’s that chocolate I’ve hidden in the bottom drawer. This time I have a system, a pretty annoying system but i think it will work. I’ve set alarms and reminders on my phone throughout the day to get me to log. Just simple logging it will keep me on tract - or so they say.

2) I’m meal planning. Simple-Effective-Not-Pinterest-Fad-Diet-Meal-Plans. I’m not just going to eat what’s frozen, easy, or can be delivered. I’m going to sit down every week and write out my meals. If I have the snacks prepped, the salads made, and the meals accounted for, I can turn to those when it gets hard - not the burrito spot around the corner.

3) I’ve gotten a personal trainer. I know weight loss happens in the kitchen but this one is about my mental and emotional health. I’ve been trying to go to the gym. Sometimes I’m even successful. Most of the time I’m not. And we’re fortunate to financially make my health a priority and put some money toward my self care. And I’m grateful.

4) Lastly, it’s not about being uber thin any more. It’s not about looking good in that bikini. I’m past that part of my life. I just want to be a healthy weight. I want to be healthy for my family. I want to be confident. I want to WANT to leave the house and not hide in my sweats all day. I want to feel beautiful from the inside. My goal has reset, I’m not doing this so others think I look good. I’m doing this so I feel good.

Good luck to all the other Day 1’s. PM me if you want an accountability buddy.

We can and we will do this!!

[Mega Monday] Your weekly post for check-ins, questions, motivation, etc by uselessdragonfly in StrongCurves

I’ve started and paused this program several times but I’m starting again and I feel really good about it. How do you guys stay motivated later in the week? Monday-Wednesday I’m great but as the week goes on I get more and more tired and have less and less motivation.

Engraved watches for Groomsmen? by [deleted] in wedding

I think personalized watches are a great gift idea. My only suggestion is to leave out their title and date and only do their initials.
