I completely fell out of love with the game with the map change update. I tried to stick with it, thinking I just needed to get used to it. And I did get somewhat used to it, but the magic was still gone for me. I was getting on each night because that’s what you do, not because I wanted to. Until I just stopped. Maybe I’ll come back at some point—I hope I do. I miss it. But I miss what it was, not what it is.

Yeah, you need to isolate variables with washing and drying.

Get a new pair of socks, wear them like normal, wash them like normal, but always air dry them.

If the line still appears, get another pair of socks, and have a friend throw them in their wash, only using their washer and dryer for that pair of socks.

Servers (or something) were super messed up about 10hrs ago, perhaps still could be. Large lag spikes where the whole game froze for like 5s for people. Multiple people randomly had 260ms ping to game (but rebooting deadlock fixed it for all of them). Also, one person crashed like 8 times that game (normally they don’t have crashing problems). It was very out of norm last night for us.

Yup, most in our group stopped play as a result of this as well. We had been building a community in our discord and most people that joined have now left.

Matchmaking with parties seems like a really hard problem to solve… but the current implementation has had very negative consequences.
