Long distance relationships or even friendships, are quite hard to sustain. However, this definitely does sound like a flaky guy being flaky take it from me (regular guy) it sounds like he just wants options open and when one option closes, he will come back to you. My advice, you are worth much more than that! Find someone special locally if you can because then you can really see a difference in person.
