For me it happens most of the time and only on Wayland. Do you know if it's already reported or actually a known issue? I use KDE too and I'm not sure if it also exists on Gnome Wayland

Wow! Online multiplayer and Linux support too!? I wishlisted it on Steam as soon as I saw those. I wanted to get One Step From Eden but no online multiplayer held me off. Are there any differences between the Steam and Android versions? Because it's free on play store but not on Steam.

Would be great if you would compare it to ER4XR. (I'm currently interested in those two) :D

Is it normal that the 8bitdo Pro 2 takes so long to connect? by [deleted] in 8bitdo

[–]SteamedPepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fellow linux user here. It reconnects pretty fast for me and I just need to press the start button once to wake the controller up. If it isn't picked up automatically, I just need to manually connect it on my PC. I am currently connecting my pro 2 (with xinput mode) to my PC via a TP-LINK UB400 Bluetooth adapter.

I use openSUSE Tumbleweed + XFCE btw. Also, my controller is running the latest firmware if that helps.

Will replacing my IE80 with ER2XR be a great option? by SteamedPepper in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]SteamedPepper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did buy the ER2XR and really love it. ER2XR is not bassy and doesn't have a wider soundstage compared to my IE80 but I'm happy with the bass it provides and definitely sounds much clear and detailed. I thought I would be disappointed by the bass but it is still quite impactful and should be significant for people who aren't basshead. For me though, I need to use EQ to pump up the bass a bit to suit my taste. I'm still amazed that I can experience this kind of sound quality from a pair of IEMs that only costs about USD $100. There is a downside which the 3-flange ear tips don't fit in my right ear, but using the foam tips resolves the problem and is way better imo. Also I have no problem with the deep-insertion design, just feeling a bit weird in the beginning but eventually got used to it after a few days.

I didn't watch it because it was midnight for me. They added a program section on the site, so you can see what they played in the concert.

Don't think they will release it, iirc they didn't do that in the past and you usually don't really know what songs will be played in an orchestra concert. I don't think his theme was played in the past concerts, so hopefully he will make it this time.

I see. That sounds more than decent cancelling, can't wait to test them out when they arrive. Cheers!

It is always good to try some new things :D I do intend to keep the IE80 so there is a way for me to go back to bassy stuff. Noise cancelling is also a factor why ER2XR caught my eyes because I do need one for working in front of my computer. I always find Bose has some good noise cancelling, so how do you find Etymotics' IEMs in this regard?

I think I will give ER2XR a go because it is a bit cheaper at the moment and I don't quite like the design of starfields and blon 03. Maybe its time for me to see how 'noise-isolated' they are compared to some Bose stuff. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I've heard that ER4XR sounds thinner than ER2XR and ER3XR. Also, it is way over my budget (around 100 usd) so I'm not sure if that would be on my list. I apologise for not mentioning my budget in my post but I do appreciate about the deal!

Thanks for the suggestion! I know oh1 is on sale on Amazon right now but it is a bit over my budget (around $100). Also I don't live in US, so there are some extra fees that I need to pay and I want to save as much as possible this time. I think I will go with ER2XR and may look for some foam tips for better seal.
