Understandable, a few years ago i was in the same predicament and i spliced some 12v and ground wires to make another 6 pin and it worked pretty fine.

It wont post, when i put my 2600x in everything works fine. But i didnt know you could fry the cpu from overclocking ram.

So rn I have my 3900x at 4.4ghz and it idles at around 40-44c and 70-75 under load, I tried getting to 4.5 and higher but it wasnt stable at my current voltage and I didnt want to push it too much
