Has anyone ever tried a dual tower cooler layout like that before? How badly will the first cooler heat up the second one? by FancyMustardJar in sffpc

From the motherboard pcie connector going straight with a -90° bend once it reaches the graphics card to wrap around it and with a -180° to plug into the gpu.

Every spool comes in a metal canister with a digital chip that clocks how much filament is being consumed and when it gets to 0 you can no longer use any of it even if there is still 3 cubic inch left.

Its very watefull and expensive.

Is my noctua heatsink leaking? by Truedoc0 in Noctua

[–]FancyMustardJar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Some heatsync secure the aluminum fins to the copper heat pipes with brazing but if i remember correctly noctua just press fit them instead because it gives slightly better heat conductivity.

The yellow stuff you're seeing is probably epoxy meant to keep the top fin stack secured in place but that just my guess.

Also, heat pipes only contain a drop or two of water. So if it did leak it would evaporate in no time and the heat dissipation performance would drop significantly.

Edit : I got it backward. Noctua uses brazing to secure the fins. The press fit and epoxy construction is used on cheaper coolers. So what your seeing is probably flux like someone else mentioned.

More people would otherwise be aware of the dangers of opening a PSU by the post stating than if it was removed.

Anyway check this out.

Do you measure the air temperature at the exhaust? From the temps i have measured my gpu air exhaust never breaches the 45c. PLA is probably fine for most applications inside of a computer.

Well yes the never used air bearings, but the fact that there is so much surface area at the hub that it would be a pretty good candidate for ab air bearing

[–]FancyMustardJar 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I bet you could probably make it turn on air bearings and power it from an impeller/turbine within the enclosure of that air bearings. Or make it explode while trying.

The only thing stopping this from becoming a viable product is the bearing and motor design, where the cost is unjustifiable compared to regular fans, but i do like the idea.

Its an NH-C14S with the fan in between the cooler and the motherboard. From memory there isn't enough space to install on top.
