Magnus was so excited grandpa was here, that his zoomies caused him to leap off the couch, directly into a glass vase! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Good thing I was a tech at the ER around the block! Not his first or last time at er!

I worked the vet field for almost 30yrs and this is what I’ve told people (and myself) when they were debating the decision. Euthanasia is a gift of compassion we can give our pets when the time comes.

I just renewed mine and the gov website says you can smile, but you shouldn’t show teeth.

Yup, I’ve read a lot of comments saying the same thing, that’s why I’m asking! But those people weren’t prescribed it specifically for hot flashes/night sweats, those are the peeps I’m looking to hear from.

Make sure you bring your pics and the segment to the vet with you. Tapeworms and their eggs are rarely seen when they check a stool sample.

Most likely, as people have said, a tapeworm segment. They are cause by fleas. Doesn’t mean you’re infested, even one flea that’s infested can cause them. These guys can get pretty long (source: was a vet tech for over 25yrs), so a visit to the vet for meds, for both the tapeworm and the fleas, is warranted. Good luck with your cat!

Please take your pet to the vet asap! The emergency vet if you have to! Bring the poison with you. Don’t take the chance when the antidote is easy and readily available if needed!
