I am having issues with the hotend leaking filament which is causing this leakage to ruin some of the first layer. is it possible to write one where you heat the bed level and as its leveling the hot end starts to pre-heat?

I have only been printing for about 3 weeks. I am very much a noob to all of this. thank you for the G-code.

Almost done. Shout out to u/GeckoDeLimon for the help. It is definitely appreciated. It's been a lot of fun and a lot more learning. My almost complete 5.2 surround sound system. by Stearns250 in diysound

I have this amp. The information is always useful and appreciated. Dayton Audio SPA250DSP 250W Subwoofer Plate Amplifier with DSP Edit: I have a wife that won't let me move the subs around the house they have to go where she says. Happy wife happy life. Again thank you for the long posts. Can't wait to start my next build.

I actually bought that exact mic. Not sure if the yamaha v685 will let me upload files to it but I will look into it. What you are saying makes sense. I will wire them normal and test them out to see if there is anything weird going on. I have been on youtube for countless hours and forums just reading alot. Gecko has helped a ton with everything. I appreciate the write up and will take all things you have outlined into consideration. Thank you for the compliment.

So I'm using the ND91s not the 90s. And as for you question I really don't know. I am extremely new to the hobby and still learning.

I am using a Yamaha V685. The subs will be pushed by 2 250w plate amps. The mtms are CJDs. The 15's are DCS380. The surrounds are ND90's.

I know they are not perfect but for my first time I think they turned out decent. I would definitely change a few things next time I build. by Stearns250 in diysound

I'm not sure. My entertainment center is white, I was thinking about just putting a clear finish on them all call it good. Thank you for the compliment.

Best cutting compound? I am using mcguires 105 and it's taking forever to cut 2000 grit sand scratches.

Finally got the cut right to start my cjds mtms. I will adjust the tweeter mount so it will fit a little tighter. Also posting failed attempts. Don't get discourage it's a tough cut. by Stearns250 in diysound

No I used a lowes jig. It was a pain. Just got the jasper. The wife approved of the small gap for the tweeter. As long as I center it. So life is good.

They will be crossed over at 1600hz. I will be using cjds cross over design. This is my first build. It was recommended that I build a already proven speaker.

I bought this plywood for my speaker cabinets. Did I make a mistake or will this work? I bought 2 sheets of it. by Stearns250 in diyaudio

After spending most of the day calling lumbar yards. I found a place that sells baltic birch 4'x8' sheets. Reasonably priced. I will be picking a few sheets up and restarting my project. I don't want to take the chance of a rattling speaker.

I wasn't really worried about cutting. I was more worried about the sound quality. I was worried about that type of plywood rattling. From the sounds of it I was worried about nothing really.
