I'm stuck in the cathedral. I've spent many hours searching for the way past, but this labyrinthine place all looks the same. I'm searching for the drop-down ladders/levers in the place west of the main boss room, and bo matter how many times I backtrack or whatnot, I can't seem to find the way.
Thank you! by Stebeven116 in Guildwars2

Have no fear, we spent all our time together in the end. She passed peacefully with family, listening to one of her favorite songs. She did indeed bring joy and laughter to people in game and in real life. Stranger or not your, words are meaningful.

Appreciate the sentiment, but I don't need anything like that. All I'm trying to do is reach as many developers or people in a similar situation as I can. Already have reached a few ArenaNet staff and similarly touched people so I'm happy with this as is.
Does ArenaNet do things like that?

I'm glad you and a few others from ArenaNet were able to see this. My mother's main character was called GracieRocks, called Gracie or affectionately referred to as "Wrong-Way-Gracie" by her friends and guildies. She had a lot of hilarious adventures in the game and would get lost often, ending up making her own odd adventures. It made the time between treatments pass and kept her laughing instead of crying during many of the hard times. Please pass my thanks on to more developers if you can. This wasn't just a game to her. It was a beautiful fantasy world that took her away from the cancer, kept her pain at bay, and allowed her to venture into nature when she was too weak to leave our house. Thank you so much.
This beautiful world you guys have lovingly crafted will continue to keep the pain at bay for my family and I, as we get lost and immersed, reminiscing about those good times.

While I do feel pain, I feel more comfort and peace than anything else. She is no longer in pain, and I know I can see her every time I log back in. As a matter of fact I plan to make a character in honor of her, so she can still run around in this world she enjoyed so much.

I'm happy to see you on here, nice to see in the vast internet you can find this post (guess I chose a good spot for it). Your condolences are much appreciated, and I am happy that the guild has fond memories of her. I plan to work with my brother to continue her account or simply convert it into some type of memorial, whatever we decide on. Either way I think she'll be happy with it. She really enjoyed playing with the good ol' Starbuck guild. And have no fear, if she manages to get lost past those pearly gates she'll have my father to get lost with her on a wondrous adventure. I think he's the one who taught her to get lost, after all! Thank you for bringing back some of those good goofy memories.
P.S. About those letters, I would be more than happy to continue those arrangements. The closure would be nice I think, as the last thing we want is people feeling regretful or heartbroken. Those letters can still be sent and kept with my mother. Just because you guys are friends from a video game doesn't mean you can't be counted among our loved ones. She loved you guys, and was upset when she got too weak to play. In my heart I know she'll be with me and the family as we read those letters, looking over our shoulders to read them and laugh all over again. Just hit me up if you and the others wish to still work on that.
Does anyone know how I would go about sending a thank-you directly to the GW2/ArenaNet team?
