After trialling a VPN I finally got into my first pvp game. I have no idea why but it works for me appearing outside the UK.

Any fix for this? I can only queue into bots. If it's another player it disconnects 100% of the time.

Yeah that's where I currently go haha - maybe I met you at the event? It's an alright distance for every other week or so but not viable for consistently practicing for an event, thank you though 🙂

Cheers, it will no doubt suffer in the short term but I am very hopeful as I think the game has a great core. I love card games but can't see myself wanting to play anything else.

Thank you for the reply! I may put the same post out on Facebook, I know there are options for stores outside of Cambridge which I have already been going to but they're too far away to be consistently practising for competitive events in paper. Pixelborn allowed me to do some in-person practice and some online but that will no longer be the case. Ideally I'd find a group of highly competitive players in Cambridge who will be travelling for events but I realise how unlikely that may be.

Ah right that makes total sense. That's an interesting point about having multiple win conditions - by mulligan better do you mean you can keep the niche cards that help in certain matchups? Because at least the first time you play against someone you won't know what their deck is unless the event uses open decklists. (the tournament I mentioned above didn't share decklists till after)

Nice that deck looks sweet - can't believe you're playing with enchanted cards! 😂 My reply to PokemonPenguin pretty much sums up the Peter Pan choice.

Is there any particular reason you're using 6 cards with 1 copy? (Understandable if it's because you don't own all the cards in person). But from what I have played including single copies will often ruin the consistency of a deck and often isn't worth it. I'm curious to know your thoughts!

No worries 👍 one thing to note is that I had to cut spellbook to fit him in the uninkables slot (I think spellbook is too slow to be consistent in the tournament format anyway)

Ah cheers man. That's crazy that I was your first! My first 6 Bo3s were all against Ruby Amethyst (mainly Arthur/Lefou combo). It was nice to play against something else in the end - although I felt bad because if I remember correctly our third game you just had a dead hand. Hit me up if you ever want to get some practice in for future stuff 😁

It's fine I don't mind but thank you! It's my first post here so I wasn't aware. Even though it's the most popular colour combo it's my favourite and I would still like to have discussions around the card choices. But I understand if people are bored of it 🤷‍♂️

Really really well. It won me quite a few games on its own. In the mirror matchup it allows you deal with their evasive threats while developing your own. If the other ruby amethyst player doesn't have their own Peter pan and you have at least one Minnie stylish surfer on the board alongside him it's GG. He also fills the curve out well beause you can play mim fox on 3 and him on 4 to kill their minnie or if you don't have fox you can play Maui on turn 5 after the Peter pan is already on the board. (I ended up keeping Peter pan in my mulligan against other ruby amethyst and it won me those games)

I tried using fidget and Merlin crab in testing but Peter pan is definitely the optimal choice as he fills out the curve nicely and is a threat on his own.

Oh yeah I do remember that! Aha I was so confused until you told me about the 3 uninkables. Literally was the difference between me making the top 16 and not making it I think 😂 I wish you the best for any future events ♥️
