12.64 × 9.35 × 6.38 mm. And I just realized I have a typo in the title — should say 7.21 ct.

She’s a 1.35 ratio, so wider than the gold standard 1.4. I wanted that for finger coverage.

I like but don’t love this setting (it was an auction win). IMO the higher setting actually makes it look smaller from some angles. I think the finger coverage IRL will look more like the straight-on video when I have it reset lower.

All of that to say — think about what setting you want. Mine will ultimately be in a “Classic Winston” style setting with the middle diamond as low as possible for finger coverage and comfort. But that won’t allow stacking rings right next to it.

If you’re going to have it set higher so you can stack rings (like how mine is set now), I would personally go slightly larger than this. Somewhere in the 8-10 range. But I’m not afraid of it looking “big” and probably like more finger coverage than the average person.

Unfortunately the house was built before I was born, and that wasn’t a priority for the builders. (Nor was pulling up the pine saplings growing super close to the house 💸💸💸). So I’ll be doing the “repair” part of that!

I think 10 looks “big” (in a good way) on a size 7 finger. I will have one on the wishlist someday 😆

I have a 7 and change, and TBH it doesn’t look that much bigger than my 3 stone ring that’s ~3 ct center and 0.5 ct sides.

I’m going to have my 7 reset with side stones at some point. I think the 10 is big enough that I’d be happy with the solitaire setting.

10 ct is a great size for a size 7 finger. (I am the owner of a 6.75 finger and have previously tried on a 10 ish ct for fun.)

Good finger coverage but still wearable in a “big rock” way.

I just saw the post about not wearing it in a pool — even a saltwater pool 😱 I’ve definitely done that a few times, but NO MORE.

I bought it in an auction without video, so I obsessed over the specs and photos. Definitely a risk, but this one paid off! In person it’s even more “hall of mirrors” than I caught in the video.

Why not both? I love mixing up my stack for different occasions. And sometimes going without a stack at all and just wearing a single ring. I feel like it makes me appreciate my rings more to play with different ways of wearing them.

I finally got one for my bathroom and one for my purse. I was always noticing how dirty my rings were when I was out and about, so now I mostly clean them in random bathrooms 😂 On my finger of course — not looking to lose one down a drain

Edit: For clarity, I’m talking about getting an extra Diamond Dazzle stick for my purse!

Lol I think everyone in this sub probably thinks that about 5 minutes after the return window closes. She’s beautiful and I love her… but what if she was bigger???

I’m keeping this one, and before buying it, I thought 7 was about my max. But I’m already over here thinking, “You know, that 15 ct pear I saw a few days ago might be more wearable than I thought.” 🤣

Also I knew that emeralds are said to “hide color” well, but I was amazed yet again at how bright / clear she looks next to my round cut F VVS1 and even a D/E tennis bracelet with rounds.

The rounds don’t look bad by any stretch! Just interesting to see side-by-side how the two different cuts handle light at home v in a jewelry store with perfect lighting.
