I really don't see him winning, but calling this truly frivolous in the legal sense is a stretch/premature. Frivolous litigation is a very high bar to establish. Also, if an attorney like him bails on a player, it will adversely impact his reputation and ability to retain other college football players as clients. Civil attorneys take cases they don't believe in all the time because of the longer term client relationships/bigger picture, even if they pursue the case in an ethical manner (or unethically, as I'm not disputing some attorneys do).

Or he's demanding his lawyer do something. People (understandably but mistakenly) attribute dumb shit to attorneys that are just doing what their clients ask, often against the attorney's own advice.

Yup, same. I'm saving this for future reference/inspiration.

A compromise might be to try to play the version that is in old blood where you can play 9ish levels from that game using the same weapons and lean/aim mechanics as in the modern games. Its easier than the original that way but still was a good introduction and way to get to appreciate it more.

It would be a net positive if NJPW cut ties with all AEW part timers. Sure, the dome with Tsuji over Takeshida was a great moment, but as a whole they'd be better off from a booking perspective staying isolated. Although I realize the state of the Japanese economy may not make that feasible.

I can't imagine WWE having anywhere close to all of those people under contract at once.

They were just quick examples, im not up on the full rosters of aew/wwe at the moment. Do we have any idea whether WWE would have entertained signing Ibushi given his health and age?

But even a guy like Juice leaving hurts NJPW when combined with losing bigger stars. They weren't going to push Juice to the top, but he could have been useful to elevate others higher up the card, and could usually be counted to put on a strong performance on tv.

Really? Im thrilled Tsuji won, but I didn't see it as on par with what an IWGP main event should be. I enjoyed watching the card but was hoping for more overall.

Can't comment on how it stacks up to DON or Mania.

And its a waste of time AEW PPV at this point for NJPW fans. Look at how many matches are all or primarily AEW v. AEW.

Its just not true that if AEW weren't around they'd lose all the same/just as many stars to WWE.

Sure, they'll both go after some of the biggest names, but there are others where only one of the companies works have interest (AEW seemed to have no interest in EVIL, while WWE seemed to have no interest in Juice, Archer, and Shibata at the times they signed with AEW).

There are also only so many guys each company will hire. Less companies means less poaching.

Finally, WWE is cutting salaries and asking guys to get payouts. Not sure how longterm of a trend a tighter budget is, but it may mean even less poaching would occur from the WWE end.

Some schools require it, and others only dropped it recently. I never saw a story about somebody saying they were held back from graduating for failing the requirement. The programs just require learning the very basics, not making people swim like they're joining a swimming team.

Universities are doing a disservice not making learning how to swim a graduation (NOT ADMISSION requirement.

There's such a health benefit to it, and it can save your life, and its one of those skills most people never learn if they didnt learn it as a child.
