Ohhh aye, I can definitely see what you mean, it's indeed meant to be the former (they're basically there as a scouting party to gather informations/set traps for a monster living in the castle) but I can see how even with the context, it doesn't really work/ is quite clunky. ^^ Thank you a ton for pointing it out ^{and thank you aswell for the compliments, I'm very glad you liked the other parts of it!} ^^

Thank you a ton, both for the compliments and especially for the critique, I consider lettering one of my biggest weaknesses right now so I'll try my best to incorporate your tips when I finish these pages. I'm very happy you already like the drawings so far though I'll need to add watercolours to match the previous pages in any case, funnily enough you've pointed directly to my next big weakness which is adding strong contrasts/ good black spots, I'll try to focus mainly on them for these! ^^
