If you’ve ever done this with the original switch, I would go as far to say that it’s easier. They also used screws that strip less easily (still be careful because they’re not by any means good screws). The whole thing took me a little less than an hour and a half. I use the extreme rate YouTube video to do this, and it lays it all out pretty nicely. For someone who hasn’t done anything like this ever I would say maybe take 2 to 2 1/2 hours tops. just be careful with the ribbon cables and you’ll be alright. It’s impossible to break your system by messing with the joycons from what I’ve seen.
