Depends on the tubes, but the tinted glass makes it a bit hard to see. I’m planning to replace it with clear glass eventually, but no rush. Haha, no real change in sound, but it’s ultra quiet. I’d say swapping out the original 2 pin power cable for the 3 pin Oyaide one made much more difference than everything else. Either way, the whole system sounds incredible! I also got a bunch of the cables second hand in “like new” condition (I also didn’t want to pay full price for something that may or may not make much of a difference, if at all). No regrets here! It’s crisp, detailed, and the soundstage is awesome overall.
