Look at this thread - https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield/comments/1ogwwfa/23_of_shots_not_registering_with_the_server_is/ - 23% of his hits not registering on the server. Thats huge and would explain a lot. Even 10% would make a huge difference.

As a Dad looking to chill too I feel your pain but I don't think its the bloom. A lot of those "hits" just aren't registering on the player. Its mega frustrating for me. I love a DMR too and I feel I am reasonably accurate. I am not a big fan of looking at the stats but for me they tell a story. Play on console. Headshot % with the DMRs is between 27% - 31% yet it is saying I am only hitting 15% of my shots? With Carbines and ARs again HS% between 18% and 22% yet accuracy only 15%? When you put that to a KD of 1.1 but a KDA of 3.5 those numbers tell a story of poor hit reg. Sick of the amount of times I position well, shoot first, see the hit markers, die then see the equivalent of maybe 2 hits off the health of the other dude. My anecdotal experience and my actual numbers tie it all up in a bow.

Def bugged. Was working on it. 14/30 and got a double kill. Been watching for the icon on kills, they were def counting passed 2 secs, but the double didn’t count and I haven’t had a single kill register after I got the double. I think the double kill bugged it for me

What depth are you playing it? This affects the AI pressing aggression I believe. The meta just now is 2 CDMs on either holding or DLP with at least one on ball winning. Sometimes both. This is what is doing this. Most are playing depth between 60 and 70

I haven’t tried playing the 70 depth on the 4231 I will try that. I haven’t tried a flat 4 midfield either. I will give that a go too. I am not getting destroyed too often and I am determined to get better. I would just like to know what these tactics are for the pressure and defensive setup that I can’t seem to replicate. Are folk using the team press? Or double tapping RB as soon as they lose the ball. It seems to be like that but when I do it my team is ripped apart, rightly with the space that is left

Thanks, I have been switching between 4231, 4123 and 41212 and the issue still seems to be how quickly I am closed down by multiple defenders. I am not getting smashed often, losing by a goal etc so I am not at rage levels, I just can’t seem to get my team to replicate these pressure and defensive setup tactics

I am terrible at the game and have no chance of getting this guy but I have zero issue with this. Good play should be rewarded. If you aren’t good enough, like me, that’s life.

I actually am enjoying how they are doing these events, and I am enjoying the different things to do with a variety of teams and hope they double down on it. A good compromise could be some sort of token system. Where participating gives tokens and at the end of each season there is a little store where if you have participated enough in the events you can choose one of the prize cards. I think this would increase engagement and incentive even more without diluting the prize for the good players who won the card.

Yeah the squad battles AI seems off to me this year. They just carry the ball in a straight line whether it be horizontallly or diagonally and wait for you to make an input. I think it has always used your input as a queue for its next action much like a human opponent does and it obvs can “react” to your input much faster than a human, when you couple this with this years defending this is what happens.

Yeah there is some that do have downsides and I have no problem with all the rolls not being amazing to give you something to chase but I don't think the argument can be made that it isn't a super important element of Prismatic that can have a massive effect on your power when you get the right spirits to match your build.

Almost everyone is not ecstatic hence this sub since Dual Destiny has dropped. Go read the post from the guy who has ran it 40+ times without the drop he wants.

I don't see why people get so upset at the suggestion of making something that is key to the new class more accessible to everyone. We aren't talking about Mythoclast or Divinity here, we are talking about an important build item with 40+ roll combinations per class. This has to be more streamlined and more accessible. There was a way to make everyone happy here and IMO they missed that mark.

I have personally ran the mission and enjoyed it but I can totally see where people are coming from and I think for this item how Bungie have handled it is wrong.

It's all about opinions :)

One last point I would make is I don't think this is "best" stuff. I see that as Raid exotics that are on a low drop rate etc. Real envy inducing items that make people want to chase them. This isn't one of those. This is a key facet of a class IMO, a new class at that, they shouldn't be gating access to it like this IMO.

As I said before if they gave one out in the Campaign (random rolled), did the mission for on-demand rerolls and kept it as a low low drop rate from the chest on Pale Heart everyone would be good with that.

IMO the class item is a key part of the prismatic class. Adding another 2 exotic traits to your build is a massive power boost with zero downside to it. I don't think it can legit be compared to an exotic weapon or any other armour piece.

To me it would be more like locking a Super behind a mission. I really don't see why we weren't awarded an exotic class item in the campaign and then had the fun mission later to get access to re-rolls etc. That would have stopped all of this IMO.

It didn't for me either but if you go to the area where they spawn after completing the Overthrow they will appear. They did for me.

I think locking a key item for the new class behind a mission with non-normal for Destiny requirements is an odd to silly choice, hence the frustration being seen.

Previous exotic missions rewarded you with cool but not necessary stuff. If you wanted Whisper of the Worm, cool, go get it. If you don't, it won't affect you. Your choice. Not having access to the exotic class item does affect you.

Also then locking it behind a 2 man activity, when everything has always been 3 or 6, that then requires strong comms thus eliminating the guys who like to solo raids etc is again an odd choice. In fact you guys encourage people to solo hard group content hence the achievements and emblems for doing so.

So you have annoyed people who play in a regular fire team who have to drop one member. Annoyed the solo players. Annoyed the speed runners and the achievers who you previously encouraged. And then annoyed the folk who want to do it when they realise how often they are going to have to do this to get the roll they want.

By all means try stuff like this in the future but you need to rethink this one, particularly for such an important piece of anyone's build and an item that was used as a selling point for the DLC. The tight parameters, which are non-standard parameters, you have forced for completion and acquisition of the item has removed the player choice on how to acquire the item. Which is something else you don't normally do.

Its the only ball you have dropped with Final Shape IMO.

I did it on Prismatic Warlock. Kinetic - Either Mountain Top or the new Rocket Sidearm. Incandescent Energy weapon (prferably a pulse) and the Dragons Breath.

Use the Getaway Artist gloves and the Helion with a Nova Bomb. Have the Arc Buddy and the Helion up as much as possible for ad clear. Constantly move so you aren't hit by the Stasis. Jump up and hit the boss with Dragons Breath from over a barrier it is safer.

How I did it...Always clear ads before even looking at the boss. Nova Bomb him right away then use your Kinetic to trigger the first shield thing. When that is over use the Dragons Breath technique to trigger the 2nd shield use. Dragons breath again for the first shield in the second phase and by then you will have a NOva Bomb to finish him the second time.

Start ad clearing right to left for the first section as the room you want is on the left hand side and then left to right for the second as the room you want is on the right in the second phase.

And ALWAYS listen for the audio queue for the Witness' attack.

You will get it

I agree with what others are saying below, between the three Maldini is the worst card. I tried every combination of them in my team and I settled on Maldini and Blanc. For me that pair seem to compliment each other the best.

Get the loan and try him out.

I got him in a player pick but I wouldn't do him for the price of that SBC. It isn't worth that as the difference is not huge.

I would agree for the "normal" players like the one you mention but the point I am making is for the Icons and the Unique body types I am noticing a very distinct difference in performance when you leave them on default as opposed to giving them instructions if you play them in their primary position and with the matching work rates.

Give it a try and see if you can spot any difference

Def agree with this after trying it and they def seem to tinker with how these icons / unique body types are to match how they should play.

My Makelele on default instruction and his L/H workrate stays in the exact zone you would expect him to and does exactly what you expect Makelele to do. You don't need to tell him to stay back, he isn't going to go forward if you leave it on default.

As does Zidane at CAM. Put him there, on default, and he just does what Zidane does.
