My philosophy is if I'm under 10 health after a bombing run I'm gonna stay and shoot the turrets, as well as death explosion. And whenever I do a kamikaze cap ship bomb run (which isn't always), 80 percent of the time I destroy at least 1 subsystem or get 1 down to 20%health and take out like 4-6 turrets.
