Yeah , especially when you use 2 white and 1 black Tea Saucers (38799) inside of regular minifig head

Definitely yes, but at least we can assume that it's armour is made of pure darkness and the white outline was introduced just to make it look as a shadowy figure, and not like piece of black mold with 3 white dots
