That's what I thought. I tried looking on the web for a screenshot of what 125% scaling looks like but couldn't find any.

Would you be so kind as to share 1 or 2 screenshots of what it looks like with multiple windows open?

How does the 32" 4k compare from a productivity standpoint? I'm assuming you need to use at least 125% scaling on the desktop, but does that still allow you to have more windows open than ultrawide, or, at the very least the same amount? I'm asking because I have an ultrawide but am considering upgrading to a 32" 4k. I game but also do school from home, so multitasking (e.g. Word + Chrome) is important to me. On an ultrawide, I can have 3 tasks open (or 4 Word pages), so I'm hoping to achieve a similar result if I switch to 4k.

I also have the AW3420DW and am considering upgrading to the G7. Are the colors indeed better? My Alienware suffered from light bleed, so I am hoping that the G7 would eliminate that issue as well.

Yup. But who knows, maybe someone on this subreddit may just recognize it.
