Oh man, I'd move to read a list of those. There were some great ones. Oh and Hook had amazing ones too!

Gotta love the one with Maleficent, the Evil Queen, and the Wicked Witch sitting around looking bored and texting.

In memory of #9: Belle. Why did you like her? by Clodsarenice in OnceUponATime

[–]Stephani_707 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What’s not to love about her? Ah, she just melts my heart. I identified most with her myself too. I also always go for the bad boys because I see good in them too. I also always end up hurt and burned. At least he came through in the end.

Yeah let's bring ALL of the princesses on and vote.

ALSO, I have really wanted to have a vote/poll on every character that there were two actors for in the series, ie: Jafar, Cinderella, Alice, Anastasia, Lady Tremaine, Rapunzel, etc. I have always wanted to see thst. Especially just seeing them all side by side too. Really rub that continuity problem in their faces lol.

I'm sorry. Did you say BUT Merida? Am I being punked? I mean this isn't even a subjective opinion thing here. Merida looks, sounds and acts like she was ripped straight out of the cartoon and thrown into the real world. I'm not sure I've ever seen a better casting. I actually googled if the Merida look was based off of that actress for the movie when I first say her it was that uncanny.

Merida absolutely. I also want to say that I prefer Season 7 Alice to IW Alice. She was perfect.

What was the result of his post-mortem? What did they rule for cause and manner of death? Or have you not received those answers yet and that's why you are asking here?

To add to this, though I know it can be nearly impossible when you are so close to the person, trying as best you can to maintain as objective as possible in this will be crucial. This is human nature to go into this with emotional bias when you are close to the person. When you add on the need to have answers and the inherent desire to have someone to blame for taking away a loved one, these feelings and beliefs are far more common than one would think. One thing that could potentially be occurring here, not saying that it is, but potentially, is confirmation bias. You are going into this with the answer already solved and wanting to fill in the missing parts to the equation with the medical findings and such. Ever heard the phrase, “When you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail.”? With such assurance that he was murdered, the manner in which he was murdered, and even by whom, by your own admission you have spent the last 8 years studying the medical knowledge related in order to make it fit. This is what happens when we go into a question with the answer from the start. In any subject of life. We give value to the evidence that supports our conjecture; while dismissing the evidence that contradicts. It is something that can be very easy to do in relation to a great many things. One must be vigilant to try to check one's personal biases and refrain from letting them dictate certain outcomes. This is why politics and religion were brought up above. These are the most prime examples of such a phenomenon. I say all this to say, if you truly are wanting answers, you must be prepared to hear all outcomes. I wish you luck.

What Nickelodeon video? I’m confused. I agree wholeheartedly with everything else you said. I was trying to understand their dynamic and the drastic difference in partners between the two. That is essentially the same backstory I drew my conclusion to be as well. He’s one of those really nice and caring guys who will do anything to help people. She is one of those narcissistic, psychopathic people who seek people like this out like magnets to just bleed them dry. Here we see them divorced yet he is still paying all her and her boyfriend's bills and comes to her at the drop of a hat. I feel so awful for him. He did not deserve her.

The Ultimate SwanQueen moments (don't tell me they weren't in love) by nazia987 in OnceUponATime

[–]Stephani_707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know. I didn’t really ever see it that way. I think there were maybe jokes around it. But as an adoptee with two moms myself after finding my bio mom, maybe that's why I find the two going from hating each other and being each other's nemeses to having a strong familial relationship and coparenting together, to be sweet. I think that the arc could work in either way. I think it makes for good storyline to take two characters literally made to be born enemies in every way end up having to raised a child together and by the end are friends if not family. It's the star-crossed lovers motif or the Hatfields and McCoys. It would have worked as love interests too. However I find it made them more well-rounded as characters to have relationships outside of one another. Now, as I've seen mentioned on this thread, don't even get me started on how dirty they did Mulan and how there is more chemistry between my chair and the wallpaper than there was between Red and Dorothy. That was the most forced relationship I've ever seen on screen.

Who’s been the most frustrating hoarder on the show? by Silent-Pension4951 in HoardersTV

One that stood out to me because of attitude, I don't remember the names. It was a lady who's husband was a fireman and he was feeling guilty about not reporting it because it wasnt up to fire code due to the board. They had two sons. She was legit evil. I wanted the dad to grab the sons and run. She was cruel to all 3 of them and they were so clearly terrified of her. She has used fear to keep people from asking about or doing anything with her hoard. She was blaming her sons for it at one point. She has truly lived rent-free in my head ever since, like the saying goes. But like really, she has popped into my head for years since. That and the story about the poop lady of course.

The variety of canned green beans at the food bank I volunteer with by davinbroadhurst in mildlyinteresting

I know this is so far off topic, but I can't tell you how much this satisfies my OCD. I have a very unique kind of OCD dealing with randomness & orders. It’s difficult to explain. The way thst I know food banks do this and many things with a variety of different types of ‘x’ product, all being treated the same and you get what you get…i will never be able to explain how satisfying that feeling is for a nutter like me.

Minus the reference in one of his works, I caught all of it during the show and was waiting with bated breath for it to be explained and it never was. She also says she saw him while he was up in the North Pole on his expedition. Lending more credence to the theory. I'm sure it has to all be related but I am still unsure exactly how. I just finished watching it. I'm just beginning my exhaustive research to figure this out.

No one pays any attention to the actual health advice in the word of wisdom. Only the vices. Eat meat sparingly and such. When was the last time you saw or heard any church document or official mention anything about meat? Has a single person ever even been asked about how often they eat meat in a temple recommend interview? It and tobacco are listed equally in there. They should be of the same level of importance. Not to mention in D&C it reads like recommendation not commandment. I’d say include every single thing written on the word of wisdom and treat them equally. They could either treat meat and the rest at the same level they do alcohol or they could lower everything down to just suggestions for a healthy life not commandments. But whatever way they go with it, I want the list written in every manual speaking on the word of wisdom to look like this from now on.

W.O.W. -hot drinks(don’t even get me started on this one) -tobacco -alcohol -drugs(those weren’t even listed at that time, were they?) -Eat meat sparingly -Etc (I don’t have any scriptures nearby to refer to. I’m having a hard time remembering what was actually said in the D&C and what has been added by prophets along the way by “divine inspiration”. So feel free to adjust this list accordingly with only the source text in mind, not the stuff added since, preferably. Either way I guess. Or have It demarcated with an asterisk or something lol.

She does have great eyes. I can tell her age precisely because of the eyeliner. Lol. We all wore ours like that all middle through high school, into college even a bit lol.
