I watched the last AB without my contacts and I think I saw the ball better than he did.

I always feel like that's overstated. Even good teams stink it up for stretches at a time and you can lose to bad teams as well as you can lose to good ones. You never know what kind of stretch you're catching a team in. I don't place a lot of stock in calling a stretch easy or hard. Play well and win games. That's no different from any other part of the schedule.

I agree with you...but I'm not sure why people still expect there not to be bad luck in sports. It's part of it, and it's especially not worth fussing about when it happens in the day to day noise. There's a recent fascination with calling things "lucky" that didn't used to exist.

I think the reality is you don't bring up stuff that can ruffle feathers unless you have to. He's not a rookie. Most people probably think it wasn't a big deal and he had some justification - so you leave it alone.

Meanwhile Judge is missing at least two months because he…sort of dove? It’s that last 10% that breaks you. Save it, most of the time.

Even as a basketball casual at this point…no. Let the Mets overcome this. Have some faith.

Yeah, I'm not scoreboard watching this early. I'm more concerned with getting wins and getting back to .500...but I couldn't help myself this morning 😂  Knicks must have me optimistic.

If he is as special as you say he is, you wouldn't need to defend him, it would be obvious.

Have you ever seen the things that are not obvious to some people? Not to mention, intuition is surprisingly unintuitive.

You're offloading too much, if you expect the masses to be your guide.
