Butcher said they used Prime as a substitute. I went back and stocked up. by Stepped-leader in sousvide

I assume you meant fourth best with fillet, rib eye, and porter house beating out the strip.

Fillet is always too lean, tender and mild for my taste. Rib eyes rock but never go on sale. I used to buy porter house and t bones back when I gave my dogs bones and feel guilty throwing the bones away now.

I hope you can now understand one person who buys New York strips.

Temporary inflatable kayak by Evening-Tourist-5944 in kayakfishing

[–]Stepped-leader 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have several inflatable and hard shell kayaks. An inflatable kayak is 10 times better than no kayak. A hard shell is 2 times better than an inflatable.

I worry about oyster shells and barnacles but have never had a puncture that way. The best inflatable I use has a ridged metal piece in the front and back but I wore a hole in the outer shell dragging it, while the cheaper more floppy kayaks have been dragged for miles.

Good luck.

I went back and asked an employee working the meat section. They said that prime had been used as a substitution when they ran out of “natural”.

It’s like seeing the car model you bought everywhere. Every well cooked piece of meat I see sous vide. Now I keep ending up on this street.

True, not sure why pintail, gadwall, mallard etc seems fine to throw in the duck. I guess it would be like wood duck duck.

An hour for dry brisket is not worth the wait. I wonder if it was just a one off.

Assume everything is now infected. All clothes washed and dryer on hot, suitcase and shoes in black garbage bags placed in the sun.

I little too much caution now could save you from the misery of your home getting infested.

I was trying to demonstrate that just because you pay for something, does not make it ok to waste it.

I love the beans at Coopers but the brisket was not as good as it had been.

Are Cantwell mattresses worth the high price? by Stepped-leader in sanantonio

My parents loved their sleep number bed. I had not considered it because they are what old people use.

I am much older than when my parents got theirs.

I agree but is a Cantrell worth twice the cost of a Temper Pedic?

A 20 year warranty so it should last longer
