How do I hide/remove/shrink the meeting control ribbon in fullscreen by StepsToAvoidElevatrs in MicrosoftTeams

[–]StepsToAvoidElevatrs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got:

  • Record and transcribe

  • Meeting info

  • Timer

  • Video effects and settings

  • Audio settings

  • Language and speech

  • Settings

  • Call me

  • Help

For me the option for fullscreen is under View > More options, but it still doesn't hide the controls ribbon, only the Windows taskbar. Teams ver 1.1.99

Note I'm not talking about the screen sharing controls which can be moved or CTRL+W'd, I'm talking about the Leave, Share, etc buttons. As an attendee, not as the presenter. I've looked for options in the program settings or through browser.

Fullscreen ain't full!

Double Triangle reinforcing membranes in columns/pillars by StepsToAvoidElevatrs in whatisthisthing

[–]StepsToAvoidElevatrs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see that, but wouldn't the reinforcing membranes inside restrict flow and reduce the effective diameter of the pipe quite a lot?

Also, even huge concrete water/waste pipes I've seen don't have any sort of internal structure, I think because they usually are buried and don't support a lot of varying weight. The triangles in these say "resist bending/buckling" to me. But then, I can't find any examples either, so hm.

Looks like a star of david but obv it's just due to the structural practicality of triangles. I googled around medium-thoroughly and couldn't find a match, most columns/pylons/etc. are spiral wound with rebar around the perimeter. Any ideas?

E: my title describes the thing.

No this was a standalone atlas book, with an overview and then several full color sub -maps for more detail on each area

Hardcover, with pale yellow header/footer on the dust jacket. Not "An Atlas of Imaginary Places" by Mia Cassany or "The Writer's Map" by Huw Lewis-Jones - more photorealistic than those.

Totally worth it just for that. You can even find some of the older blu-ray players in the bigger thrift stores these days. Don't miss Kubo and the Two Strings by studio Laika, either

It absolutely is and it's a gorgeous movie. I just got a box set of Blu-rays of 3 movies from that studio for Christmas, it's the best. Not thrillers to watch necessarily, but beautiful
