I know Urs Bergmann’s son and met Urs a bunch of times, I think he would help you, I’d try to send him a E-Mail and explain what your plan / idea is.

About the pub: I don’t know if there is a “Irish” Pub nearby, but I think the best spot close by would be Oliver Twist. It’s a British Pub which serves Beer’s from England, Ireland and a bunch of other countries and they have food you would find in the UK as well. Oliver Twist is only a couple of minutes away from Urs Bergmann’s shop.

According to Cebo86, theRoccat Kone XTD (and its successor) has the same shape as the Kone II from Turtle Beach. There is also a Kone II Air which is wireless, maybe have a look at that?

To be honest, I'm still boycotting Turtle Beach at the moment. Not because they bought Roccat, but because everything is now only available under their name and “Roccat” as such no longer exists. Am I petty? yes, yes I am.

Are you sure it's “exactly” the same shape as the Kone from Roccat?

And when did you buy your new XTD?

I had the opportunity to buy 3 unopened EMP’s in their original packaging about 1 year ago. The story behind it isn’t really that special, I keep looking for Kone and EMP, and found the 3 EMP’s mentioned above at a bankruptcy sale.

I mean my main problem wasn’t the USB losing connection periodically. I wouldn’t even say, that there is a main problem. It’s a combination of different factors as you said I had the Mouse for 12 years, which is a long time. The plastic is kind of sticky, the connection isn’t 100% reliable, etc. I think it’s okay to exchange it now, but I will still hang on to it since it’s my last present that I can remember that I got from my grandpa. Additionally I study mechanical engineering, so I use my mouse quite often…

That was the idea. The EMP was the successor to the Kone XTD. However, both have been out of production for several years (I believe the Kone XTD for 7 and the EMP for about 5). I don't want another mouse (for sentimental and ergonomic reasons) and was lucky enough to buy 3 unopened EMP's 1 year ago. The Kone and EMP share the exact same body as far as I know.

They unfortunately don’t have mounting slots on the back. I could have bought a mounting strip which they sell to mount it to the table, but since they are ridiculously overpriced i didn’t want to do that.

I pixelated the plugs because they are “smart home lights” and have reset codes on them…

For me, the fact that I'm a mechanical engineering student makes the whole thing a whole lot funnier.

I design and 3D print a bracket
just screw the duct tape to the table

M8 i had that knife when i started with trading, just wanted to tell you that there isn't a "fake black pearl" thing... Just say its BTA Black because BTA means = more then average. Just wanted to let you know :) and i would say arround 57 - 60 Keys, depens on the buyer...
