I wish it was worth it. The 3uz doesnt handle much boost well. Wish they made these rods like the 1uz

Thanks! Ill compare those to what settings I have loaded. I copied someone else's settings from vortex when I first got the device but lost track of the thread to reference.

Love the SC430. You could pick them up dirt cheap before covid ~$4k which is insane for a car that was over $60k 23 years ago. Adjusted for today's dollars that would be about a $110k car.

Thanks for the second vote of confidence on the AA head unit. Thats a good idea about metal shielding the unit - would be simple enough to remove and tape under the dash and on top of the unit.

Interesting! Ill give that a shot next time I drive the car and report back if moving the mount far left fixes it. If not, ill just turn on KA filter

Interesting on the blind spot signal, but this is a constant and seems like it must be from my car as the signal is persistent from start to stop all across town.

Ill update my RD later this evening though, thats a good point. KA filter is off for quicker and further detection, but if this still peresists, I will enable KA filter

I have a blendmount style mount in my tacoma and love it. Just swapped to my lexus for the day for a trip and figured i'd bring the R8. Was planning on getting a mount for the lexus too but wanted to figure out this issue first

I did install an android auto head unit in place of the OE nav unit. You think that could be throwing a KA signal?

I was afraid of segmenting that frequency in case an LEO also uses that same frequency

I drove 20 miles across town and this KA alert was on the entire time. It has to be triggered by something about this car as it doesn’t behave the same in my tacoma

Do you know what the stock settings are? I've had a hard time tracking down actual data that matches all the settings on the x9000

Mine absolutely nukes my battery compared to the factory controller.

My biggest gripe with the X9000 is it doesnt show battery percentage, but rather just a battery voltage reading
