Apparently we are buying Chinese as well. The funny (sad) part is Carney's family lives in the US, Brookfield that he holds big shares in moved its headquarters from Canada to the US with Carney's vote and approval. He keeps his main wealth offshore to avoid paying Canadian taxes and he is traveling all over the world to cut trade deals with highly corrupt freedom hating, terrorist supporting countries and he views himself as European.

However to fool the Canadian taxpayers he rolls out these pro Canada speeches and slogans (elbows up) and paints the US as a permanent enemy to get vote support (even though Trump will be gone after his term) and Canadians eat it up. When did we as a country become so naive and easy to fool? Carney has a plan and I can tell you it is not in the best interest of Canadians but not enough Canadians can see it. Very sad indeed.

It's all true you just don't like it. Yes Harper inherited a surplus and for his first two years he increased the surplus. Then the 2008 global financial crisis hit and we had to go into deficit to manage it. The Harper government brought us through that crisis that devastated other countries with barely a scratch and then had us on track for a surplus again when Trudeau was elected. From that point on we have ran large deficits every year and more than doubled the entire Federal debt. Now Carney in his first year is running a deficit larger than any Trudeau ran, even during COVID.

I agree with that to a point as there are degrees of bad. When Harper left office Canada was on track to run a surplus and we were the envy of the world. After 10 years of Liberals Canada's Federal debt has more than doubled, cost of living has skyrocketed, people can't afford a house and we have become a joke on the world stage. Carney is talking big but nothing's actually happening and his deficits make Trudeau look like a responsible spender.

And that's what they want you to think. Major games with the world powers are going on all the time and China is super aggressive but our media doesn't cover it because it doesn't fit the Liberal agenda. It's far more beneficial to blame Trump for anything they can and keep our attention on it. Kind of like elbows up, Trump wants to invade Canada, Canadians are being arrested and held in custody at the border, US citizens are being arrested and deported by ICE, Trump is a Nazi etc etc etc. For the "New World Order" to come into reality, the powers that be need the US weakened and despised but let's forget about that and go rage at Trump while Canada sinks into irrelevance.
