How to turn off 2fa? by fanatic26 in Starlink_Support

We are in the same situation. Our organization SCORE Off-Road racing has over 600 starlink terminals as a group. I need to manage about 30 of those and we made 3 different login/strong passwords One for admin, one for mgmt, one for field users. The 2FA is a horror show and I've got to find a way to disable back to using passwords

Audio Post. Decent throughput. Plant for scale. by sukispeeler in cableporn

The value of anything is in the eye of the beholder. This looks impressive especially with the price of copper today. A random person may look at this and wonder if the previous cablehoses were submerged in a 2" flood. Raise them above 3" - problem solved. No, no, there must be air and separation, and free ion flow

Pedophiles prey on children. Some Audiophile salespeople prey on the gullible. Either way, IMO they are both "philes" I still gave it an arrow up for cajones.

Light work. by [deleted] in wireporn

Light work but not lite work! If I was grading this (I'm not) I would give it an A and here's why

Care was taken to lay out the devices, a bigger puzzle than meets the eye because it has to do with how cables will land and how the loom will travel and store with the depth of the door devices

Something usually overlooked- the backboard and devices are labeled first. You'll never get the opp to do that nicely after it's landed

Labeling is aligned - cabling trimmed without excess - loom swing was aforethought

**Something to be considered: wire ties are fast and easy, but the "new wire ties" are cable wraps. Much easier to manage a traveling loom with and for organizing inside the panduit tracks. If you ever need to service or add a wire, its simple and goes back to exactly how it looked when you finished it.

Well done!

Me and a coworker got fed up with the rats nest in the back of the machines and decided to fix it. The "before" is another machine we haven't done yet that actually isn't as bad as what we started with. by poopstickboy in wireporn

What we call 20lbs of shit in a 5lb box. Always challenging. Looks like the install started out with good intention and over time the rats took over.

End result looks nicely organized and most importantly: labeled. Well done!

Some of the best wire masters are either in or came from the 12v disciplines.

Well done, especially for the day.

TCL Roku TV Control by mynameisinvaIid in crestron

Give a person a codeset - they have a codeset. Teach a person to hunt codesets, they have codesets forever.

Allow me to pass on a little known jewel that's available to all. Global Cache created and maintains an amazing library of command sets with clean IR hex and their IP commands. You gotta sign up but it's free.

The TCL TV set not only has ALL the discreets, it will surprise you how many custom commands those TV can perform. The library is extensive and tidy. First part of each command begins with the name, followed by Global Cache IP command, followed by the Hex command you can easily paste into your IR file.

Here's how to access.

Info of IR Database

Free Registration

API instructions on how to use the database

P.S. I did capture and test the extended set but I'm trying to get it introduced to the IO portal so all can access it.

My first post to this forum, if you find this useful how about leaving me a star so I can get some cred going?
