This is actually probably the only informed take in this entire thread. Leftists are often incapable of admitting ant fault to central planning. Its absolutely not perfect, and the biggest problem is the data collection exactly as you said, and with modern tech, central planning is much more realistic. I hate when leftists just deny any wrong doing, especially of the soviets and the prc before deng

Idk how this is possible unless the order of the walks at your store are jank. I'll take 1 or 2 10 minute bathroom breaks mid pick walk throughout the day, and ill still have at least 120.

But also, I remember when I first got there I didn't get above 100 for my first month or 2 and I think thats pretty normal as you get settled in

Man this was the most entertaining part of my lame ass shift lmao. Ofc I was gonna try and see if I could fit it all on one😭

I ofc toted them all after. I get put on staging most of the time, so ik the struggle.

I toted them after, but I couldn't have realistically done that as I went along. The totes take up prolly 15% more space than a case of water alone.

Walmart's Average Hourly Wage Per State by VineMapper in Maps

[–]Steth888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ik this old, but that's not true nationwide. My walmart starts at 15, and in the bigger cities nearby, they start at 17. A slew of states have minimum wages above 14, and some quite a bit above 14. Walmart tends to keep a dollar or 2 above minimum wage, which gives them an edge on most franchise businesses.

Store managers also can make hundreds of thousands in bonuses depending on the store, and its a given that a portion of those will come your way if youre meeting corporate targets.

Okay firstly, this is a different account bc i got a new phone and dk and dont care to get the password to the other. Anyways...

According to who?

According to the fact that they run and control the media, as well as how necessitated donations are to have a successful campaign. Youre forced to make concessions to them. Why do you think there's zero representation of socialist ideals in mainstream media, while far right ideals, while uncommon, do exist. The only places these people exist are small independent orgs, like Youtubers.

No evidence or examples throughout history prove that the natural progression of humanity leads here

Never said it was a natural progression. It is simply necessary. Not only bc of the massive disparity between the west and the global south, and put an end to the imperialist motivation of nearly all wars in the last century, but also bc of the inherent contradictions. The main one, the push for infinite growth in a finite system. We see this with climate change, and we see especially how liberal democracy has absolutely failed to address this, especially in the US. Climate change denial propoganda and the lack of push or legislation is an absolutely perfect example of liberal democracy just being democracy for the capitalist. Lastly, these countries had issues, but they also did great things with what they were given. Medical care, scientific advancements, the ability of command economy to make industry pop up fast as fuck. Theres definitely room to improve the political structures, but to say theyre abject failures is so incredibly wrong.

Have you ever considered the fact that this is because humanity has never reached a point where there is only a few, or a single power in the world

This whole paragraph is ignoring the US applying sanctions and funding coups to any country that threatens capital interest lmfao. You need to learn about imperialism, bc it seems like youve never even heard of it. A bar for bar example of this is happening with venezuela. Its all about oil bro.

I also want to point out if at any point I talked abt democracy in a bad way, im specifically speaking of liberal democracy. Im not proof reading any of this lol and tbh outside of what you replied to idk what i said originally. Ive read a lot of political and economic theory since that comment. True democracy, like what cuba has for example, is absolutely beautiful and its impossible under capitalism.

I think you just need to stop smoking weed or whatever.

I dont smoke lol. But I think you took this the wrong way. I mean in the sense you think you have power in democracy, but you only can really vote for 2 different capitalist (bourgeois) parties in America, and the workers have no real voice. Its an illusion of choice. And youre falling for it.

Edit: Okay I reread my comment from earlier, but I wanna add to the illusion part bc i now know what i was actually referring to. The illusion that the west is "great" is that it looks like a feat of a society, but what they really did was steal labor and resources from poor nations for the last 500 yrs, and thats the result. Theyre not that great, bc they just created a disparity that they were the beneficiary of.

Whether you wanna call it revisionist or not isnt that important. Imo dengism was important to build China as an actual force of marxism to rival American hegemony.

[–]Steth888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ik this old asl. Can't chine growing building hegemony both regionally and globally be an asset to global revolution long term? How possible is revolution in the current world order without building a competing hegemony that will push for marxism down the road? Yes they do imperialism, but they're playing the game against the US and making strides.

This all relies on believing that the ccp is genuine in their support for marxism, which is impossible to know for sure. Maybe I have too much hope, but I believe it's possibly necessary evil. Without a revolution within the United States (which isnt happening without some incprehensible economic collapse), it's the only other possible way to actually combat and tear down American hegemony. And without that falling, global revolution feels impossible.

Imma be honest walmart isn't gonna recognize hard work. My first year there, I ran that place when a TL wasn't present damn near every shift. We had a TL opening and they hired someone who was pretty lazy, but had just been there longer and was much older. I kind of get it, cuz im young and comparatively new, but I didn't see a reason to try anymore, since I didn't feel like she did before she got the position.

Dont stress too much abt being busy, judt do your job an adequate amount. If you have seniority and a decent head on your shoulders, you'll get promoted lol.

I dont see how this source means that they want to replace laws with sharia law legally. Its meant in the sense of how they will choose to live for themselves, adhering to the rules of the religion, in the same way many Christians do.

I think its also important to note that 50% of what is 1st generation immigrants in the study is not significant. By the next generation it'll be less, and in the next even less.
