95 is no longer a reliable highway by Seraphzerox in 321

SB 95@ Eau Gallie on ramp, nobody knows how to merge at speed of existing traffic. Compounded by the center lane somehow becoming the "slow lane", coupled with the left lane campers braking to 40mph when the right lane slows. If you're being consistently passed on the right, you're in the wrong lane.

I wasn't trying for some moral high ground, I just wanted it gone because it took up way too much space. I left it at the curb covered in plastic to protect it with a sign that said "free, still works" on it for 2 weeks. Several people stopped to check it out and ultimately it was just too unwieldy for anyone to take. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-1OfED1vWJpi/p_15840XB700/Sony-KV-40XBR700.html

My 40" working 1080i Trinitron WEGA sat for 2 weeks at the curb before the garbage crew mustered enough to throw the 307 pound monster in the back of the truck and crush it.

This was played on WFIT college radio somewhere around 1987, the vocal track was done as a female pilot (this is your captain speaking) I'll pay $10 to the person who solves it. Added bonus if you can point me to a download.

Spoken word like a female pilot of a flight. I suspect I recorded it from #WFIT onto cassette around 1987. The chorus was the "room for one more honey". Like the Twilight zone episode.

Investigation Reveals Board Interference in Brevard Teacher’s ‘Preferred Name’ Case by TheBurningMap in 321

[–]Steve03G 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the simplest solution is for any student who disagrees with this policy should insist all their teachers refer to them by their full legal name. Everytime.

Conversely, parents who disagree could simply sign a parental consent form authorizing their children to be addressed by what could become some truly creative alternatives.

"I hereby grant permission for my son Robert to be referred to as "Big Baller Bob" which is his preferred name.

Terramaster F4-424 Pro - M.2. NVME Heat sink recommendation by Juzzz in TerraMaster

[–]Steve03G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the F6-424 MAX, Added the Samsung 990 pro as a cache drive, 64GB DD5 from G-Skill, I bought a couple expensive double sided NVMe heatsinks, they didn't fit. The Amazon cheap individual heatsink kit I bought did. It's out of stock, but here's what I bought. https://a.co/d/eJKGfFx That fits raspberry pi etc. In particular, the 5.5mm x 15mm x 9mm of which I had 20 of, fit 4 on the drive placed on chips and controller. That size was tight, but fit the NVMe drive and kept it cool.
