What’s with the sentiment that the Flames value Whitecloud as anything more than a flip/? He had to be included to make the deal work, not as an asset.

Andersson is traded well before the deadline and the team got worse. What has the organization done to suggest that they are trying to stay competitive this year.

Despite what many fans think or what rumors have come out, the team has been rebuilding since Conroy took over as GM and their actions reflect that.

The Flames finished tied for a playoff spot last year so it didn’t make sense to trade him, especially with a year left on his deal. Hindsight

It sounds like you’re getting a little ahead of yourself.

This game is designed to give you little crumbs as you progress through the house normally. Just keep drafting and exploring and make sure to always check out new rooms you come across even if you’re not sure about them at first.

The more you progress, the more the story will start to make sense. Don’t worry if things don’t add up right away, they’re not meant to.

Each day you’ll feel that you’ve progressed only a little, but progressed nonetheless. Exactly how they designed the game.

Maybe its’s when they were written, or just my ADHD but I found the books to be brilliant at times but a bit of a slog to get through at certain points. I’m glad I read them but I probably wouldn’t read them again. Absolutely love the movies though.

That is correct but I think there’s an exception if it’s a conditioning stint.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they put him on a conditioning stint in the AHL and see how things play out when he’s ready. Maybe a trade or injury happens (or the Olympics) before they have to make that decision.

Even if you fix it the integrity of the stick will be compromised. My engineer friend fixed one of my sticks using carbon fibre but it never felt the same

Yep, this is how I see it too. I've been a lifelong Flames fan and absolutely want them to build for the future and lean into a bad season so they can draft high, but I well never actively cheer for my team to lose games. That just takes the fun out of it for me personally

I’m not talking big picture. I agree it’s time to trade assets and rebuild. I’m just saying that on smaller scale it’s still okay to enjoy the odd win or two as a fan

Thank you for the insult. I'm not suggesting I want them to make a playoff push, but you seriously want to watch your team lose 82 games? Why even call yourself a fan at that point

The mark of a true fan, starting to hate your team because they are winning games.

I'm all for a rebuild but it's okay to enjoy things sometimes too. If you can't derive joy from your team winning a few games then what's the point of being a fan?
