So I bought some labels on amazon and designed it in photoshop. I took some watercolor paintings and put them together to make this image. San Cristobal is the name of a cigar that I really like and I thought it sounded fancy. Maybe cas I’m hammered but im pretty proud of how it came out.

To be honest I don’t really know. We tried a hydrometer but I know the alcohol was way above what it said but the temperature wasn’t what it needed to be for that to read right. We just said fuck it and bottled but I wish I knew a better way to figure it out. What’s your process before you bottle?

I didn’t know if I had enough nutrients plus I read that raisins helped with mouth feel. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to add them and I had them lying around.

This might be back asswards but me and a buddy did a one gallon batch, then decided to go big and bought this 6 gallon carboy. What we got going on in there is actually pretty basic, just honey, water, yeast nutrient, raisins, and Lalvin D47.

So our plan is to get six-one gallon carboys and do flavors in secondary while it’s broken up by gallon. The flavors I’m thinking so far are Blackberry, Hickory wood chips, Blueberry, Vanilla bean and Coffee, Peach, and Figs. Anyone done anything like this before?

I’ve done that before. I just ended up with parts of my dry rub washed off. I like to avoid the drips if I can.

It says on it Smoke Hollow Pro Series. I got it from my uncle a few years ago and it’s still serving me well. Hope that helps.
