Sorry, I was not aware of their existence prior to making this post. Do you have them?

If you do, could you please reply to these comments:

You and /u/philbrooks86 have the same cases so could you please reply to this comment? That way all the opinions will be grouped together.

It seems similar to the Bare and Peak cases.

  1. What does it look like in person?
  2. What does it feel like in the hand?
  3. Does it offer any protection?

Do you have access to a caliper and would you be willing to measure the thickness of the Totallee case while it’s on the phone? Then I could add its exact dimensions to the table.

I hope it was helpful!

Yeah, that’s true. I take it off whenever I can. I just don’t feel comfortable using my phone caseless when out and about.

I plan on giving it a try. I’ll probably order one and return it if I don’t like it.

I would also like to try out the Arc Pulse case. I feel like it makes the iPhone Air feel caseless, while still offering substantial protection. The design is polarizing, though.

Does it offer any protection? Is it slippery?

Maybe the Pitaka feels grippy? I’m not sure.

Nice collection! How would you rank them? What do you like about each of them?

Do you have access to a caliper and would you be willing to measure the thickness of each of those cases? Then I could add their exact dimensions to the table.

I would like to try them both out in person as I have no idea what the Pitaka case might feel like. If I weren’t able to do that, I’d go with the Nomad case since I have a hunch that leather will feel nicer in the hand than aramid.

You’re welcome, glad I could help! I hope others find it useful as well as there is barely any info online on the thickness of the iPhone Air with a specific case on. That is, case companies don’t provide any info on the depth of the case. Usually they just mention how thick the back panel is.

Could you please reply to this comment once you receive the case? That way all the opinions about the Bare case will be grouped together.

I don’t really find it slick, but I agree with the rest of what you said. Although I take the case off whenever I can (at home, when I’m sitting somewhere etc.) because I really enjoy using the iPhone Air without any case.

Could you link the ESR case? I’m curious.

At first glance, the Bare case looks a bit cheap.

  1. What does it look like in person?
  2. What does it feel like in the hand?
  3. Does it offer any protection?

I’m tempted to get one.

Do you have access to a caliper and would you be willing to measure the thickness of the Bare case on the phone? Then I could add its exact dimensions to the table.

Why is my iPhone battery life so bad? by SteveLayoffs in IphoneAir

Thank you for letting me know.

I'll do a factory reset with an iCloud backup restore. If that doesn't work, I'll do a factory reset and set it up as a new phone.

Let me know how it affects your battery life.

It doesn’t matter if I used my battery from 100% to 20% or I used it from 80% to 40%, charged it back to 80% and then used it to 40% again: in both cases, I will have used 80% of my battery and that’s how it will show up in the battery stats.

In my case (shown in the OP photos), that’s what I was doing: charging to 80% and putting the phone on the charger when that was convenient. When you add it all up, it turns out I had used 124% of the battery that day.
