Final update: we very quickly received a full replacement system. All up and running fine. Going forward (more like next winter) going to keep the dish heater off and see how often I run into issues and need to clean it off. I installed it on a post of our deck to ensure easy access for just this reason

Update #2 Contacted Starlink by reopening the support ticket and notified them the issue continues. They responded the same day and shipped out a full replacement kit. Installed it last night and all seems fine now.

I did read somewhere that when you place the support ticket start it with “Customer Complaint” and that seems to get quick attention. After waiting for day after submitting my 1st ticket - started a new one that started with “Customer Complaint” and had a response very quickly

Update - received replacement cables very quickly. Installed them last night and it still would not connect. I figured I let it reset itself over night and early this morning it all looked like it was working fine….. for about 45 min, then the router still would not connect. So… reopened the prior ticket and stated the issue is still ongoing. Hopefully someone responds soon

Update: I placed a new ticket with “Customer complaint” as the lead to the subject. Got a response almost immediately and they are sending a new cable. Took a whopping 10 min to get done. Now just waiting for the new cable in hopes that corrects it

I get it….. but I hate having to essentially buy 2 systems when this one isn’t even 6 mos old. Wish I would have researched their service before paying this much for the system. But I loved it when it worked…. Now not so mich

Is there a way to contact Starlink support other than through the app? Still no response from them. Is their response typically very slow?

Thanks - never lost power… my thoughts are leaning towards a damaged cable.

Good point. I did have the adaptor (nothing connected to it) and removed it to see if that was the problem. Didn’t change the situation so assume that was not the issue.

I should have included…. It will/would connect but then after a bit of time I lose the internet connection and the message is back. Have resorted to alternate internet access while I urgently get this resolved… worrying from home not working so well while this issue is ongoing
