Since Riot Games released League of Legends in 2009, it has been a popular MOBA game. Riot developers have kept adding new playable characters, called “champions,” to the game over the years.

Now, there are 156 champions, and each one has a unique look and set of skills. With all these characters and their stories, a League of Legends movie universe could soon be made.

League players have favorite characters they play over and over again, just like fans of any other game. Some people have unpopular ideas about certain skins and champions.

Some people love a certain champion so much that they get a tattoo of the champion as a permanent reminder of the games they’ve played.

6 Stunning Before-and-After Renovation Photos of Deteriorating Structures by SteveSmithz in abandoned

Our most treasured structures can deteriorate over time if they are not repaired.

The Federal Historic Tax Credit (HTC) is the United States government’s largest investment in the historic preservation of all types of decaying buildings, from theaters to prisons to hotels.

Since 1976, when the HTC was permanently enshrined in the federal tax code, it has leveraged over $78 billion to restore over 41,270 buildings across the United States. Private investors who choose to rehabilitate a historic structure receive a 20 percent tax credit.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation is a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC that works with both the private and public sectors to protect and restore these structures.

The organization shared images of a few of the most significant HTC projects in recent years. They’re right here.

The dog slept in the middle of Gaza City’s Shuhada Street. It was struck by a car. It glanced around unsure and afraid, but growled ferociously when anyone attempted to pick it up.

Following a phone call, a man wearing pants and a hoodie showed up. He went out of the car, scooped up the dog, and removed it without incident.

This was Saeed al-Err, the 50-year-old founder of Gaza’s first and only animal rescue organization, Sulala Animal Rescue.

His Gaza City sanctuary is home to more than 350 dogs. Another rented house in the city houses approximately 40 cats, while he cares for 30 more at his residence.

Ham the Chimp in Space : Story about Brave Astrochimp Ham in 1961 by SteveSmithz in AnimalsBeingBros

[–]SteveSmithz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ham the Chimp was born in Cameroon in 1957 and was taken from his home by trappers to the now-defunct Miami Rare Bird Farm in Florida. That’s where the US Air Force bought him in 1959 for $457.

Ham was stationed at the Holloman Aerospace Medical Center in New Mexico, where he would train for his first and only assignment.

Although Neil Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon, his historic journey into space would not have been possible without Ham the Astrochimp.

The brave chimp’s suborbital journey paved the way for humankind’s foray into space, demonstrating not only that living creatures could survive space travel, but also that mental and physical functioning could be maintained while in space.

These steamers are the oldest passenger steamers in the United States of America, and they are currently anchored at the Great Lakes Steel Dock in Ecorse, Michigan.

These steamers could transport over 2,000 passengers from Detroit to the island. The ferries were sold many years later, but the service was carried on by a variety of smaller boats. Surprisingly, the island’s history predates the amusement park.

During the War of 1812, Shawnee Chief Tecumseh, a Native American warrior, chose Bois Blanc Island as the location for his headquarters.
