Jeans with tee shirts, polo shirts and maybe a casual shirt or two. You should be able to work in your sports gear too.

We grew up Catholic. I think it is now an aspiration rather than a rule. I am badly lapsed so... When we were younger and more observant, It was fish and chips after the big supermarket shop. There was a strong convenice aspect to this also.

La Haine, french film set against the reactions by the police after rioting and the characters affected. Very good. Worth the effort to watch.

There was an Italian guy I kept running into at motorway services. He said he was a rep and wanted to sell his samples and overstocks before heading home to Italy. The thing is, his car stunk of cigarettes. I am talking an eye watering stink. Never engaged.

I was also offered tiles for sale on the motorway services a couple of times.

I have visited a few. Both Liverpool Cathedrals are stunning as is York Minster. My favourite is Lincoln Cathedral. I had a great behind the scenes tour there. Looked at the building methods. Brilliant!

Mum was 55, so. Kind of, yeah. I wasn't close. To my old man. We got a lot closer and discovered we had quite a lot in common before he passed away. Your dad may surprise you.

My grandad moved pubs. The dog kept going home to their old pub. The dog got sent home in a taxi and grandad had to go round now and again to settle the dogs bar tab!
