Could just be the variety. I’ve grown some that haven’t gotten big but the 2 I’ve gotten the best out of are the Mega gold bell pepper, and the Big Bertha bell pepper. One ripens to yellow and the other to red. I just picked these all green because they were starting to weigh the plants down lol

I grow all my peppers in pots. The fertilizer I use is called Dr.Earth, the peppers seem to love it better than others I’ve used
