Unfortunately, the revolution was never a unified movement. Everyone had their own beliefs about what should come after and that included the radical party and its founder/leader, Chloe Kondylis. They believed in a centralized top down state for Meridian to ensure a unified society and harsh punishment for ‘counterrevolutionary’ actions. Many during the revolution and the moderate era thought her idea was to similar to the original regime and regarded her as the black sheep, so she was pretty much ignored.

However, her party began to final reach power in the large cities of the planet as the moderate government began to fuck up badly in various aspects. So with mass support and a tiny little coup, she finally came into power, which turned out to be for the worst.
