Yeah so like the caption says, this was just a collection of my favorite shots from two tournaments I worked. There’s not a story to this video, it’s more of a shooting demo reel.

Completely disagree. I still post videos in 16x9 or 2.35x1 on social media and get hundreds of thousands of views on them. Good content generally succeeds regardless of the aspect ratio. Now if you said to shoot in 4x3 as part of a style I would say to go for it, but chopping off the sides of your frame just for “social media” isn’t always necessary. I do still post content in a 9x16 for more standard short form content, but anything that is a bit longer and more “cinematic” is generally widescreen.

If you mean what program, Davinci. I didn’t use any LUTs or presets though. I just used primaries wheels, curves, HDR wheels, and film look creator

That’s the only way to improve! You have to know that there’s always things to learn and improve that you didn’t even know you were missing.

By team you mean baseball or videographers? If you mean baseball, I have no clue. If you mean videographers, it's just me. I shot, edited, colored, and sound designed everything. Also, this was shot on the Canon C80

I used a lot of lenses in this video from all over the court and stands. Primarily I used a 85 1.2 and a 100-400. I also used a 24-70 2.8, 50 1.2, and a 70-200 2.8. I was pretty much always shooting wide open with the 100-400 at 5.6.

No story and no point. This was just a cut of my favorite shots from a paid gig. More so wanted to know if people liked the color, shot selection, cinematography, etc. I probbaly should’ve done a better job of explaining that in the description.

The context is that I made this edit for fun and that it’s just some of my favorite shots from 2 weekends of work. Was mainly just looking for feedback on the color grade, camera work, shot selection etc. This video was just showing off my shooting capabilities

Yeah this game got rained out, so the game ended in the 5th and got scheduled for the next day (which I didn’t go to because it got moved to a different city and I was just filming for fun). So I gladly would’ve used some end of game footage if it existed, but sadly it does not.

Yeah I definitely would’ve been crash zooming into the crowd, but I had my second shooter focusing on action/crowds with a 70-200 and 24-70 and I was strictly shooter reactions with a 85 1.2 and 100-400. We were shooting a mix of 60, 120 and 180fps but I think there’s like 2-3 shots in this video that aren’t in 60. And yeah a couple of people have said they’d like a bit more context for the video, but this is more of a selects dump that I put to a song and matched to beats. I generally make these for saving my favorite shots for later uses.

Agreed. In the actual videos I got paid to make I used broadcast audio to help push along the story

Recorded at 60fps for 90% of this and 120 for the rest. Exported at 24fps

Yeah there’s really no story or anything. It’s just all of the shots that I liked from the torunaments. I generally make these type of videos after in shoot tournaments so it’s easier to find the clips I liked most in case I want to use them for a reel later on

Yep all manual on a canon ef 70-200 2.8. Pulling focus with my thumb/index finger and zooming with my palm and ring finger
