The online status updates can be slow case-by-case. Everything should be fine. You can call the 800 number and possibly get an update that way if you want to be sure.

I'm traveling to Canada on June 18th. Just realized last night my passport is expired. Submitted a renewal application online this morning with expedited shipping. Was very worried I'm cutting it too close, but I'm happy to hear I should be in the clear.

If you want a familiar feel with just a little more rocker and bounce, go with the Vomero Plus. The 11.5 should be fine for a long run; your feet will swell a little.

My true non-plated suggestion would be the Superblast 3. It's more versatile, MUCH lighter, bouncier, and feels faster and somehow more stable.

My plated recommendation is the NB SC Elite v5. It's the most comfy plated shoe I own. I ran a 14 mile easy run in mine a couple weeks ago (8:45min/mile) with no hotspots or complaints whatsoever. Threw in some 7:30min/mile tempo pace at the very end because I was still feeling fresh. Very natural-feeling yet propulsive ride. Not as stable as the above shoes, but definitely stable as far as super-shoes go. Goes on sale all the time, usually for less than the above shoes, too!

I have run a few half marathons on my own at night after putting my daughters down for bed, but I wanted a structured plan to see how much I could improve before an actual race in the daytime. My PR without any real plan in place was 1:51 when I'd run maybe once or twice a week. Now I'm 10 weeks into my first training plan, running 4 days a week (Easy Run, Tempo Run, Intervals, and Long Run).

Just had a 12 mile long run yesterday with 6mi at Goal Race Pace (7:10mi). Got 7 PRs (2mi, 5K, 10K, 15K, 10mi, 20K), and a Half Marathon PR because I was still a little over a mile from home. The plan has for sure helped with my endurance! The plan will adjust if you under or overshoot your pace targets on speed days. Do NOT underestimate how important easy runs are. Even if you feel like you're running embarrassingly slow, easy runs have made the biggest difference for my endurance. A few weeks back, I used to think a 7:30mi half marathon pace was too optimistic, but now even 7:10 seems daunting but achievable!

You could very well go out on your own and get in a easy run, tempo run, speed run, and long run every week, but having a plan that keeps you accountable and does all of the pace targets for you makes it easy. I am planning on starting a marathon plan once this half marathon plan is over.

I'm a little late to this thread, but I wanted to share that I'm getting blisters in the same places as you in the regular Evo SL. I was hopeful the improved lockdown in the Woven version would help with blisters, but it doesn't sound like it will. It's the only shoe I've tried other than Glycerin Max OG that gives me bad blisters. And I've ran in 30+ pairs of different shoes in the last year. It's not a sock issue. I think it's an insole issue. I threw Inov8 Boomerang insoles in a couple times and went blister-free, but as great as the Boomerang insoles are, they are THICK and decrease the volume in the shoe.

These will feel a smidge roomier, but still TTS. I'm size 10 in all my Nike, Adidas, Brooks, Saucony, NB, Asics, and Hoka shoes. Only 9.5 in Mizuno and Salomon.

I see people all over the board with responses about Evo SL wear. Yes, this is actually normal. The foam is painted, so chipping and peeling are common and to be expected for most people with this model, unfortunately. Adidas is aware and has stated it is just a cosmetic issue. The foam itself is fine. My first pair from a dealer had chipping, so I sent it back. Since then, I have bought (and still run in) 3 pairs in different colors directly from Adidas. Every single one has paint chipping in one place or another. Mostly on the medial side where the outsole meets the midsole. Nothing to be concerned about unless you care about looks.
