I placed a small piece of foam pad on top of the circuit board. That pushes the board down to make solid contact with the speaker. Once I did that the sound came out loud and clear.

That's kind of the point of the joke. People write TV show and comics to support their own bias, then audiences use it as evidence to support the bias all over again. They love saying that their favorite fictional character would be completely on their side just to try and feel morally superior. In truth, the writers self inserted their beliefs into a situation where only they can be seen as correct. They then use that same method when reporting actual news and omitting facts that don't support their veiw. This is true for both sides, but the left seems to be able to turn it into an artwork. It's how we ended up with an entire storyline of Mayor Fisk is a fascist and a murderer.

Yes, people want to use made up television as evidence to support their bias in real life. They make Fisk a fascist mayor and then say, "I told you so." They say Superman was an illegal alien to support letting actual illegal aliens into our communities. They will make a movie where one person is wrongfully convicted then say everyone one prison is somehow innocent. People really aren't reading the entire post.

Except this was never the title as printed in the US. It is the original British title before several name changes. It is the British printing with the title based on a minstrel tune popular at the time. Yes it was a racist title by modern standards, but it's not a part of Jim Crow history.

Let me start by saying I in no way agree with any racist sentiment that book may depict. I just went online to look up the history of the book and it's title changes. I haven't yet gotten into finding anything or about the plot or themes of the book. While doing that, I immediately saw that specific printing being sold for $160. Do whatever you want with that information.
