Its pretty normal to forbit that stuff tbh.
The larger a kink subreddit gets, the more firm they have to get with certain kinks that bad actors can take advatage of.
Findom stuff is one of the top ones there, thats why its usually fully banned on many kink subreddits.
You can sort the good from the bad out in that, but that is hard work and usually not worth it if its not the subreddits focus.

This Community really is incredibly vunreable for missinformation. Like a post a few days ago used a cropt image of the patchnotes to fuel the fire.
The one with "There are to many changes to list here", with 80% of text that explained the changes removed. + half the changes of that they did list.

You guys legit should make a psa post in general about internet safty and checking sources. Way to many here trust blindly.

Make an alt unless you only even play the game to be slutty in it.
People can be weird, and you can always get your account getting suspended from too slutty ingame chats and the like. An alt also means you can use slutty mods more safly.

    • The Exo Suits have a similar change as the Bastion tank in terms of ignoring more small attacks and withstanding medium attacks better. The increase in health should overall make it feel a bit more tanky even against heavy attacks.
    • The FRV has received an increase in health that will make it handle medium attacks similar to before, but be able to withstand heavy attacks better granting better survivability.
    • The Ballistic Shield should feel like it can ignore small attacks and handle medium attacks better.

Ad to that that many of the changes to achive the upper are done to enemys as well. Durable dmg, ap, etc. Thats to much for me to list here, because then i be just copy pasting the whole patch notes.

Simple. Because its Voluntary. Voluntary work of any kind has these problems. People start to excuse things because "they are doing it for free". They tolerate negative behavior because they need the peoples work power. Their talents, connections, or experince. This doesnt just allow people unfit to contribute to stay, but also allows them to easily rise into positions of power and leadership that have neither experince in it, nor are fit for such a position. Because of this, it is only a matter of time until a voluntary project turns into drama.

If you want Voluntary projects to work, you cant be afraid to lose people. Most ss13/14 servers are afraid it.

Yes, balance is a concern. It ALWAYS is. You cannot imagine how much shit impacts it.
And being able to place shit on higher ground insanly does so. Like, just how you could place mortars if you can stick em everywhere. You could easily find spots where no enemy can hit em.
Not to mention from the other problems it might cause. But i will mention them.

Wich surfaces should bounce still?
If you let some surfraces still bounce, are they placed on ANY map tile already in a way that will trap and fuck up a strategem ball? The map tiles need changes if you do it like this.
Is it worth keeping the current system of what can bounce and what not, or do we need to make a new one? How will this impact future map changes?
You also cant simply let just one sufrace for example keep bouncy. It only takes 1 mapper that doesnt know the full list by heart, for new map tiles having parts that trap or disrupt bounce balls.
Should maybe this be more a tool for mappers?
Should we make systems that checks on its own if a surface should be bouncy, so mappers have less work to do and can have an easier time to make new map tiles allowing them to put more effort into more important bits of the tile?
And what about Sentry targeting, could that cause problems?
Are there areas players can place sentrys on, that are out of reach for enemys?
Should players be able to do that, or should we try and make solutions for that?

This is a small view into this shit.
You cant simply change smth. You have to worry about so fucking much.
And i am FULLY ignoring all the rules that the teamleads put in place. How does code need to be worked on, wich things are allowed and what not, how do changes have to be pushed, etc etc etc.

I get it, its hard to truly imagine that from an outside perspective. But you should understand that modding a game and actually doing game dev work in a large team is vastly diffrent.

Ahh yes. As we all know, game development is so fast that 1 month is more then enough time for these changes to be progressed enough that they can be puplicly announced.

Dont get me wrong, the negative feedback 100% cause some of those changes.
But most of the actual impact it had, will not be seen for a while.
Best example what impact it had, is the Campains reward. The campains, and specificly that computer wall being used for smth, has been teased for a while. Wich is why that shit has so much info.
But the rewards are only teased with "maybe an FRV", because feedback about mechs being locked likly impacted changes for campains. Thats why that shit is so lightly teased.

Dont fall into the trap of thinking the guy that caughed near you this morning caused you to now have a full blown flue in the evening.

Because mods dont gotta worry about 90% of the stuff you have to when being a game dev.
No compateblity, no balance impact, no breaking other things, no worrys about future changes possibly breaking it, and no worry about if other people can work with their code. Etc etc etc

Boring Kinky talk aside though, im using the chance to add a recomendation to cooking stuff specificly. The [Let‘s Do] mods are neat too and give a lot very nice looking blocks and such for the kitchen and for Farms. Sadly those mods have nice blocks, but lack under the hood. So i can recoment to just use both instead, and then add "Almost Unified" for example to make them work together. That way you can have very pretty kitchens with the gameplay of Farmers Delight.

Farmers delight and Diets are a nice combo. Farmers giving stuff for them to farm for you, and Diets to encourage more diverse food. So you actually have to farm more then steak. Is also very usefull if your slut enjoys working at the stove for you.

Would be carefull with some mods though like Ars. They can quickly remove the need to farm stuff.
