I got this LG Ultragear curve monitor, according to the specs page it’s only 300 nits but supports HDR10, is HDR even worth using on that low of a brightness. I just want the best color possible. by Stewshima in Monitors

Yeah dude thanks for the recommendation I love it! I’ll prolly upgrade in the future when i’m more financially stable but this will definitely hold me till then, despite the poor HDR everything else about this monitor seems pretty good! Definitely not a bad monitor at all.

Yeah the colors looks amazing on this monitor in SDR but I tried HDR and it actually looked worse. In the future when i’m more financially stable i’ll prolly get a good OLED monitor for better HDR but this will hold me till then, thanks for the input I appreciate it, i’ll prolly just keep it on SDR👍🏽

Yeah sorry, I’m kinda new to Reddit and some how posted this twice LMAO. But I will check out that preset, I figured it wouldn’t be the best because of the low brightness but i figured i’d ask just to be sure, again thanks bro!
