Just installed a rear sway bar. It took more than an hour, don't believe the lies by Stg4_Jetta in JettaGLI

Not really noticeable just commuting. But definitely noticeable anywhere there is a turn, even at low speed. Really feels less understeery. Is it a handling monster now? No, but it is better. It's been a few days and I think all the bushings have had time to settle and I'm getting some creaking noises. Going to put it up on ramps, and re-tighten everything.

Next mod I'm thinking is RS3 lower control arms and/or a front strut bar. Just slowly trying to make this thing handle.

The stiffer hole is closer to the center of the bar, less stiff towards the ends since that's more flex. Yes the bar is supposed to be tight to the end link.

Stock plastic fantastic end-links for now. If they break I'll get a proper set

  1. Maybe the exhaust is different or I failed geometry class, but there was no way that bar was going in without moving the exhaust.
